Raam Kumar R. is a Kalari Payatt artist with 30 years of practice, 22 years of professional performance, and 17 years of teaching experience. A 4th generation practitioner of the CVN Kalari Sangham lineage, he has traveled extensively in India and abroad, sharing his expertise through teaching and performances.

Over the years, Raam has collaborated with numerous esteemed institutions. For the past 5 years, he has been exploring the movement vocabulary of Kalari Payatt in the context of physical theatre, pushing the boundaries of traditional practice.
